job overview:
as the sales general manager for the mexico market, you will be fully responsible for developing and executing our market entry and expansion strategy. Your core mission is to leverage your deep industry experience and channel network to successfully introduce and penetrate our refurbished tv products into major sales channels across mexico, building brand influence and achieving rapid business growth.
key responsibilities:
1.
strategy & planning:
develop and implement the overall sales strategy, annual business plan, and budget for the mexico market. Be accountable for sales revenue, market share, and profit targets.
2.
channel development & management:
o take full ownership of developing and managing various sales channels, including but not limited to large retail chains, specialty appliance stores, online e-commerce platforms, and corporate clients.
o establish and maintain long-term, stable strategic partnerships with key channel partners.
3.
business negotiation:
lead commercial negotiations with channel partners, covering contract terms, product placement, promotional activities, and profit sharing.
4.
team leadership:
build, train, and lead the local sales team to ensure high-performance operations and the achievement of set goals.
5.
market insight:
gain a deep understanding of the mexican tv market, competitor activities, and consumer needs to provide strategic insights for product strategy and market competition.
6.
cross-functional collaboration:
work closely with marketing, supply chain, finance, and other departments to ensure a smooth end-to-end business process from product to delivery.
qualifications & requirements:
1.
essential experience:
o
10+ years
of sales experience in the consumer electronics industry, with
at least 5 years
in a senior sales management role (sales director/general manager level) within the mexican market.
o
must have proven experience in selling tvs or major appliances
, with a deep understanding of product features and market trends.
o
must possess extensive and established local channel resources in mexico
, with the ability to quickly introduce products into mainstream channels.
