Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Management and Control:
* Establish, maintain, and improve the quality management system for dry-mix mortar products, including inspection standards and specifications for raw materials, production processes, and finished goods.
* Monitor key quality control points in the production process to ensure process stability and product consistency.
* Lead the handling of product quality anomalies and customer complaints; implement and track improvement measures, perform root cause analysis, and write 8D reports.
* Organize and participate in internal quality audits; assist in handling external customer and third-party quality audits.
2. Product & Technical Development Support:
* Participate in new product development and existing product optimization projects; responsible for defining technical parameters and conducting quality verification during lab-scale, pilot-scale, and mass production trials.
* Perform minor formulation adjustments and localization adaptations based on market requirements and cost targets.
* Develop a deep understanding of competitor products; conduct benchmarking analysis to provide input for product iteration and technological innovation.
3. Technical Application & Service Support:
* Provide high-level product and technical training to the sales, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure accurate communication of product value and application methods.
* Directly participate in resolving major or complex technical service projects, providing on-site technical guidance and solutions for key accounts and large projects.
* Analyze and resolve application-related technical issues on construction sites (e.g., cracking, hollowing, delamination) and provide professional reports.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration:
* Work closely with the production department to optimize processes, improve product quality, and enhance production efficiency.
* Collaborate with the purchasing department in the evaluation and qualification of new raw materials, and in the quality management of existing suppliers.
* Liaise with the R&D team to facilitate the successful transition of laboratory achievements into stable and reliable mass-produced products.
Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Polymer Materials, Silicate Science, Inorganic Non-metallic Materials, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related fields.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in technology, quality, or R&D within the building materials industry, with mandatory expertise in the formulation, process, performance, and application technology of dry-mix mortar (powder) products.
* Familiarity with national, industry standards, and test methods relevant to dry-mix mortar products.
* Strong independent ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems; clear logical thinking.
* Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills; ability to work under pressure.
* Proficiency in MS Office suite and data analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior work experience with leading industry players such as Sika, Saint-Gobain (Weber), Mapei, Davco, etc., is highly preferred.
