about nothing

founded in london in 2020, nothing is a design-led tech company building an alternative to the industry giants. Our products – from award-winning smartphones to expressive audio and wearables – blend iconic design with intuitive engineering to put people and creativity back at the centre of consumer tech.

backed by gv (google ventures), eqt ventures, c ventures, and influential investors like tony fadell (ipod), casey neistat, and kevin lin (twitch), we’ve grown from startup to global challenger in just a few years.

responsibilities

* develop and implement comprehensive pr strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives and target audiences in the latam region.
* build and maintain relationships with key media outlets and journalists to ensure positive coverage of the company in the region.
* lead influencer strategy for nothing and manage ongoing influencer relationships
* create engaging and compelling press releases, media pitches, and other pr materials to generate media interest and coverage.
* manage all incoming media inquiries and coordinate responses with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information is shared.
* plan and execute media events, press conferences, and product launches, ensuring a high level of media attendance and coverage.
* monitor and analyze media coverage of the company and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks, and provide timely and actionable recommendations to the leadership team.
* work closely with internal stakeholders, including senior executives, subject matter experts, and regional teams, to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communications channels.
* manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships for pr initiatives.

requirements

* over 5 years of relevant experience.
* fluent in english and spanish.
* comfortable working in remote and culturally diverse environments.
* strong preference culture, music, design or entertainment industry experience.
* strong proven track record executing pr programs (product & corporate).
* exceptional personal relationships with key journalists and contacts across the lifestyle/fashion media landscape.
* naturally proactive - you believe that actions speak louder than words and thrive leading by example.
* strong sense of ownership towards driving execution and contributing to nothing’s company level kpis.
* phenomenal organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* highly capable of leading multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
* entrepreneurial and strategic mindset - you can show creative and critical thinking skills and solve complex problems in an ever-changing environment.
