Marketing manager – growth initiatives (med-tech)
embecta’s latam marketing manager – growth will develop and execute growth strategies to drive market expansion and increase revenue in the short‑ and long‑range planning.
responsibilities
* strategic growth planning – develop and execute growth strategies to drive market expansion and increase revenue.
* market analysis & competitive analysis – conduct in‑depth market research to identify growth opportunities and customer needs in the med‑tech sector; use data analytics to measure the performance of existing and future pipeline products and make data‑driven decisions.
* product & cross‑functional collaboration – work closely with product development teams to align marketing strategies with product launches and improvements; collaborate with global and international marketing, sales, r&d and other departments to ensure cohesive and effective growth strategies.
* performance metrics – set and monitor kpis to measure the success of growth initiatives and continuously optimize strategies.
* partnership development – identify and pursue strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders, healthcare professionals and relevant entities to drive growth.
* travel – eligible to travel up to 20% of the time.
basic requirements
* bs degree required.
* 5+ years of project management experience with demonstrated success, preferably on product pre‑launch activities.
* fluent in english.
* experience in change management and professional adversity.
* proven marketing experience with a focus on growth initiatives, preferably in the med‑tech or healthcare industry.
* ability to work with all levels in the organization, including executives/leadership.
* ability to work cross‑functionally and across multiple functions to ensure accountability and responsibility.
* results‑oriented, with demonstrated ability to multi‑task and manage specific project goals and objectives.
* ability to influence without authority and use negotiation skills to create a win‑win strategy.
* proactive in surfacing risks/issues and engage project team and stakeholder community to resolve issues, define risk mitigations, and develop resolution options for escalation.
preferred requirements
* hungry mindset and learning agility.
* consulting experience within pharmaceutical, medical device or life science industry.
* mba, medical or scientific graduate degree preferred.
* pharmaceutical, medical device marketing experience preferred.
* good business acumen and analytical thinking.
* strong presentation and communication skills.
* strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
