ensure compliance with quality standards in manufacturing processes, guaranteeing that products meet customer requirements and applicable regulations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, optimize processes, and minimize cost of poor quality (copq). Coordinate inspection, audit, and certification activities, manage internal and external non-conformances, and promote a strong quality culture through training and cross‑functional collaboration.

* implement and follow up on corrective and preventive actions

* track and analyze scrap, fpy, blocked stock, and internal/external rejections
* prepare periodic quality performance reports and kpis
continuous improvement & cost reduction
* lead copq reduction initiatives
* identify process optimization opportunities
* apply teoa and six sigma tools to improve efficiency
non‑conformance & supplier management
* coordinate responses to internal and external rejections
* lead supplier non‑conformance notifications and follow‑up
* evaluate supplier corrective action effectiveness
inspection & documentation
* define inspection characteristics per part number
* review and update quality documentation (pmc, qip, cc, etc.)
* ensure compliance with customer and regulatory standards
certifications & new product introduction
* certify new part numbers according to as9100
* support mrb activities and non‑conforming material disposition
* lead safe launch activities for new products
training & customer requirements
* train operators on quality criteria and defect detection
* ensure compliance with special customer requirements
* support customer and external audits

* review and approve engineering changes impacting product quality
* maintain traceability and approval records

education & background
* bachelor’s degree in engineering (industrial, aerospace, mechatronics, or related fields)
* experience in manufacturing and quality environments (aerospace preferred)

* use of measurement tools and inspection equipment
* blueprint reading and technical specifications interpretation
* quality management systems: as9100, iso 9001, or equivalent
* local quality systems: traceability, skip lot, alis, pmc, qip
* rts, techs, dsd
