are you ready to take your purchasing expertise to the next level? Atskf monterrey, we are looking for apurchasing specialist for direct materialsto join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting our factories and driving strategic sourcing initiatives that enhance operational efficiency across the region.
objective of the position:
execute the purchasing process fordirect materials, support local factories, and implement strategic sourcing results. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient procurement operations, implement contracts and agreements, and contribute to the development of standardized p2p (procure-to-pay) processes.
key responsibilities:
* lead negotiations and sign supplier agreements within defined thresholds.
* coordinate cost reduction and supplier consolidation projects.
* review purchase requisitions and identify optimal sources for spot buys.
* provide procurement guidance and support to internal stakeholders throughout the procurement cycle.
* recommend cost-effective or beneficial alternatives to original purchase requests.
* monitor supplier performance using qcdim (quality, cost, delivery, innovation, management) metrics.
* drive sourcing initiatives in alignment with the purchasing group manager.

qualifications:

* fluent in english (spoken and written).
* experience in purchasingautomotive direct materialsand supplier management (highly desirable).
* familiarity with purchasing strategies and erp systems is a plus.
