*what will you do?

*as a *plant procurement leader *, you will be responsible for implementing the procurement strategies for direct materials, develop suppliers, and developing and executing savings projects.
you will also assure that they right suppliers are assigned to each purchased item and support expediting processes with suppliers to assure that direct material is supplied in a proper time.
the senior buyer may also be required to support in other supplier related activities such as quality escalations and iso related requirements.

- *manages assigned suppliers / commodities to ensure ongoing supply and appropriate pricing*:
- *ensure the cost, quality and time-oriented supply of all required goods, materials under compliance with the respective business plans, budgets and targets.

- *ensure compliance to global procurement policies.

- *improve working capital through optimum payment terms.

- *monitor vendor performance and support purchasing to assure proper feedback and corrective actions are in place to improve vendor development*:
- *assure that problems relating to delivery, pricing and invoicing are promptly conveyed to the vendor and resolved in a timely manner per standard procedures to avoid material shortages*:
- *lead and coordinate savings projects*:
- *resolve discrepancy problems in a timely manner*:
- *participate in risk assessments*:
- *set up new suppliers and manage the existing ones in vendor master.

- *manage the suppliers within the given programs (request for quotes rfq, change management, contract negotiations, payment queries, dispute resolutions etc.

- *define and negotiate warranty terms and process with suppliers.

- *review annual supplier performance under your management*:

- *support implementation of global commodity strategies.

*what we look for?
*:
- *bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, engineering or related technical area.
*:
- *fluent english, written and spoken*:
- *minimum 5 years' experience in procurement or related discipline.

- *strong negotiating skills.

- *ability to gather, relate and summarize information into logical conclusions.

- *strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal customers and suppliers.
