- influences & leads the development of a knowledge exchange strategy to provide customers with timely insights to enhance their confidence in our products and integrated solutions for the business region.
- develops, executes and continuously improves a strategic plan for their region, aligned with commercial objectives, that increases sales rep and dealer/ distributor effectiveness, grows customer engagement, and ultimately increases market share and profitability.
- initiates relationships with regional industry experts to strengthen product recommendations and provide solutions to our customers & business partners.
- builds strong collaborative relationships with influencers & decision makers (internally and externally), being recognized as a reference throughout the agriculture and technology industry as providing solutions beyond advancements in genetic gain.
- collaborates with mdr/r&d/sales/marketing to document regional market insights that drive business decisions.
- communicates with r&d/sales/marketing to evaluate and prioritize customer and business opportunities for regional integrated & tailored solutions, knowledge transfer and demand creation.
- uses overall understanding of market potential, competition, key trends, research and emerging market trends to be a regional industry expert.
- actively works with internal partners (sales, r&d & marketing across geographies) to establish performance targets that improve product performance and competitiveness.
- identifies and develops opportunities to leverage digital tools and technologies to offer customer focused solutions and enhance dealers'-partners' capabilities.
- generates high quality data and insights to strengthen the company's understanding of our customer needs, product performance, and/or integrated & tailored solutions.
- influences cross-functional decisions achieve regional business success.
- manages regional business complexity by connecting the experiences and knowledge of peers in different geographies, cultures and functions and communicating practical insights.
- mentors and leads mdr/sales/marketing to identify and understand our product performance knowledge gapsensuring we offer best in class service to our customers and business partners.
- conducts demand generation activities using multiple techniques to positively impact financial results.
- coordinates and conducts field-based applied research across diverse crops to drive product placement and integrated & tailored solutions under area farming conditions.
- provides timely completion of projects; uses appropriate scientifically rigorous methods, ensures data integrity, analysis and communication of results.
- provides practical recommendations to enhance product performance under varied production environments.
*skills.

- ph.d. (5 yrs) or master of science degree (10 yrs) in plant sciences or agribusiness (agronomy, plant pathology, weed sciences or closely-related discipline) or bachelor of science degree with 8 years of experience in the agricultural industry (product development, agricultural consulting, agricultural production, research).
- agronomicknowledge of vegetable crop production.
- highly analytical with the ability to convert data into practical knowledge and solutions for growers.
