qualifications and requirements education: bachelor's degree in mechanical, automotive, mechatronics, or aerospace engineering.experience: minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a design release engineer within the automotive sector, with specific expertise in powertrain or engine components.technical skills: strong proficiency in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (gd& t), tolerance stack-up analysis, and familiarity with manufacturing processes such as casting, machining, and injection molding.language: professional fluency in both english and spanish is required for daily collaboration with global and local teams.
