Position: customer representative (mexico)
location: client manufacturing site – mexico city / state of mexico

position objective
provide on-site technical support and customer service to ensure fast and effective response to production line issues related to aluminum foil materials, guaranteeing production continuity, product quality, and strong customer relationships.

required profile
education:
technical degree or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

experience:
engineering background with customer-facing experience.
on-site technical support and problem-solving experience in manufacturing, packaging, or raw materials industries.
strong service orientation and hands-on approach.

languages:
fluent english (mandatory).
chinese is a plus.

residence:
based in mexico, preferably living near major manufacturing plants.

key responsibilities

on-site technical support & problem solving
provide 7x24 emergency response to production line issues at the customer site.
quickly diagnose and resolve aluminum foil-related issues such as pinholes, tape breakage, surface defects, deviations, stretching, poor sealing, etc.
minimize customer downtime and operational losses.

quality & root cause analysis
conduct root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8d and 5 why.
prepare detailed technical reports and drive corrective and preventive actions internally.
coordinate customer complaints and improvement actions with internal teams (production, quality, technical).

customer relationship & value-added services
act as the main on-site representative at the customer facility.
build and maintain strong professional relationships with customer teams (procurement, quality, production, r&d).
provide basic technical training on aluminum foil materials, applications, and failure prevention.
proactively collect customer requirements, new needs, and market or technology trends.

working conditions
schedule: according to local factory operations.
vacations: according to local labor law.
reporting line: headquarters (line manager / general manager).

conversion to a permanent employment contract after one year.
