qualifications
* 3+ years of experience
* microsoft office
* advanced sap basis/hana db
* preferred: certified in advanced sap basis/hana db
* experience or certified in linux operating system administration / engineering
responsibilities
* provide technical support in the areas of computer hardware and software.
* administer, configure, monitor and test application servers for business and network operations.
* performs daily system monitoring of system kpis and take necessary action.
* verifies integrity and availability of hardware, network and server installations
* verifies completion of scheduled jobs such as backups, restores, and patches.
* stay current on new and emerging trends to provide input on new technology solutions.
* implement end user and application security functions
* monitor storage capacities and performance for applications servers.
* analyzes and resolves technology and end user incidents during standard business hours or on-call rotations; monitors issue resolutions and collaborates with the application team and engineers when necessary to resolve and apply fixes
* review compliance with software testing life-cycle standards.
* maintains standard application and operations procedure documentation
* may serve internal or external clients.
* assists with special projects and generating ad-hoc reports.
* performs other job-related duties as assigned.
