about the role
as an it business analyst in logistics / demand planning, you will optimize and improve supply chain processes, especially in distribution planning.
responsibilities
* participate in sap logistics & demand planning projects
* gather and analyze business requirements, facilitate workshops, and develop specifications
* collaborate with global it teams and propose sap system improvements
* coordinate with stakeholders and external resources
* assist in transition from requirements to design, and define performance metrics
* conduct end-user training and manage service tickets
qualifications
* degree in computer science, information systems, or related
* 3-5 years' experience in it supply chain, especially logistics
* expertise in sap solutions for supply chain and demand planning
* experience with distribution, shipment costs, and demand planning (apo)
* knowledge of supply network and sales is a plus
* strong communication skills in spanish and english; additional languages are beneficial
* familiarity with waterfall, agile, or hybrid methodologies
* ability to travel approximately 30%
* knowledge of s4/ibp is a plus
