Head of digital marketing

The marketing manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to enhance the hotel's brand awareness, drive revenue growth, and position the property as a leading luxury destination in cancún. This role oversees digital marketing, branding, pr, advertising, and promotional campaigns while ensuring alignment with the hotel's business objectives.
marketing strategy & brand management:
develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote the hotel's luxury positioning, dining outlets, spa, events, and guest experiences.
maintain and strengthen the hotel's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all channels (website, social media, print, etc.).
digital marketing & online presence:
understanding of the hotel's digital marketing efforts, including seo/sem, email marketing, paid advertising (google ads, meta, etc.), and content strategy.
lead social media strategy (instagram, facebook, linkedin, tiktok, etc.), engaging with influencers and generating visually compelling content.
collaborate with pr agencies and media outlets to secure coverage in luxury travel publications, blogs, and broadcast channels.
handle crisis communications and maintain a positive brand reputation.
advertising & promotions:
plan and execute multi-channel advertising campaigns (print, digital, ota partnerships, etc.).
develop seasonal promotions, packages, and partnerships with luxury brands or local attractions.
monitor campaign performance and roi, adjusting strategies as needed.
content creation & storytelling:
supervise the production of high-quality visual and written content (photos, videos, blogs, newsletters).
ensure all marketing materials reflect the hotel's luxury standards and appeal to target audiences (leisure travelers, honeymooners, corporate clients, etc.).
track kpis (website traffic, conversion rates, social engagement, revenue impact) and prepare regular reports for management.
use data-driven insights to optimize marketing efforts and budget allocation.
bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, or related field.
~5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in luxury hotels/resorts or tourism.
~ strong expertise in digital marketing (seo, sem, social media, email automation tools).
~ proficiency in analytics tools (google analytics, meta business suite, crm systems).
~ excellent communication skills in english and spanish (written and spoken).
~ creative thinker with strong project management and leadership abilities.
~ experience with luxury hospitality brands.
