* design and manage operational workflows that align with labor-related requirements (e.g., registration, contract terminations, social security payments, benefits delivery).
* proactively identify pain points in the delivery partner experience and lead initiatives to boost satisfaction, retention, and engagement.
* collaborate with legal, policy, product, support, and territory operations teams to translate regulatory requirements into scalable, compliant processes.
* use sql, google sheets, and internal tools to analyze data, reconcile operations, and prepare structured reports for regulatory systems.
* monitor and report on performance and compliance metrics, flagging risks early and proposing effective solutions.
* stay ahead of regulatory trends to support uber\'s position as a forward-thinking leader in the future of platform work.
* advocate for delivery partners, ensuring their experience is central to all initiatives.

basic qualifications

* a minimum of 3 years of experience in operations, strategy, or other data-driven roles.

the role

we are seeking an experienced lending operations manager to lead our mexico operations from our juárez office in mexico city. You will oversee the entire consumer lending cycle — from underwriting to disbursement, collections, recoveries, and legal — ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with our growth objectives.

key responsibilities

* design, implement, and manage operational processes for the entire loan lifecycle, ensuring they meet strategic and regulatory requirements.
* build and lead multidisciplinary teams (collections, legal, logistics) to deliver operational excellence.
* drive the adoption of new technologies to enhance customer experience, streamline lending processes, and optimize collections.
* monitor kpis, analyze performance data, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to achieve business plan targets.

requirements

* bachelor\'s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or related field.
