Job summary
the international customs clearance manager will play a critical role in streamlining the customs clearance process for incoming shipments. Key responsibilities include managing the clearance process within bonded warehouses, supervising operational staff, ensuring timely and efficient processing of all volume upon arrival, validating customs documentation and payment processes, monitoring volume from various airlines to optimize the clearance process, coordinating with multiple bonded warehouses to expedite transfers, managing sorting processes by different lanes and consolidating volume per carrier and other sorting levels, and overseeing productivity to meet customs clearance targets.
key requirements
* a minimum of 3 years of solid management experience in warehouse management or related fields, preferably self-owned mode or 3pl mode.
* ability to work at the mexico airport headquarters and be available to relocate to the new aifa airport, adapting to jet lag and high-pressure situations with a mexican domestic entrepreneurial team.
* exceptional communication and execution skills are essential.
* previous experience within a bonded warehouse is highly valued.
* fluency in english is highly preferred.
