role overview

as part of the banking practice within the agile and distributed capability network team, you will contribute as a strategic partner, helping shape new business models, collaborating with clients in unconventional ways, rediscovering their purpose, and committing to constant innovation.

responsibilities
* work closely with clients on complex problems, leveraging domain knowledge and consulting skills to help them achieve their goals.
* lead project delivery, support areas such as process improvement, systems enhancement, user training, and software procurement.
* conduct analysis to determine the best path for solving business problems.
* gather facts through research, interviews, and surveys, analyse business processes, prepare final reports, and give presentations.
* interface with cross‐functional client teams to perform project management activities and support leaders in drafting winning pitches and discovering new business opportunities.
* mentor team members and contribute to their professional development.
* support asset development, contributing to thought leadership, staffing, and capability development.
* estimate resource effort and cost budgets.
* provide subject‐matter expertise, guidance and recommendations to drive success and growth of solutions and programs in the market.

required experience
* mba from a tier‐1 business school.
* over 2 years of experience leading strategy, management, technology consulting firms, or analytics firms within the banking and financial services sector.
* proven experience as a business analyst, business systems analyst, product owner, or product manager with banks or financial services companies.
* experience in analysing an organization and designing its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology.
* experience in assessing the current state, identifying customer requirements, and defining the future state and/or business solution.
* in‐depth knowledge of one or more banking areas, with the ability to identify improvement areas and drive technological solutions.
* experience in agile learning projects within a fast‐paced environment.
* proficiency in client management and stakeholder management, including inter‐team and cross‐functional stakeholder engagement.
* strong payments background with understanding of cross‐border, instant, high‐value/low‐value payment flows.
* knowledge of common messaging standards (swift mt/iso 20022).
* knowledge of any transaction processing platform (global pay plus/epp/swift amh/ clear2pay/ volpayhub) is an added advantage.
