Job description:
inviting applications for the role of senior manager – sourcing execution role.
Responsibilities
assist the client category team as they work to define their need for running sourcing events, including drafting requirements or specification documents (e.g., sow, position postings) and documenting business requirements.
Identify savings opportunities by analyzing spend data (slicing and dicing).
Work with the spend analytics team to create rfp documents, coordinate supplier rfis, analyze responses, and, where needed, negotiate and select suppliers. Pre-qualify suppliers and evaluate vendor quotations using appropriate negotiation and purchasing analysis techniques; implement contracts focusing on quality, price, delivery, and service.
Provide contract-related support to the client category team – contract drafting, redlining, negotiations, understanding of contract clauses, and collaboration with contract managers and supplier legal teams to align with the client’s standard templates and clauses.
Identify expiring contracts, liaise with client stakeholders and contract management to extend or terminate contracts; initiate legal contracts with the help of the client contract management team based on approved templates and clauses; monitor contract compliance.
Experience with contract management tools/erp is beneficial.
Provide input on contractual provisions with legal risk considerations, initiate redlines, review redline comments, monitor status, and follow up with affected parties.
Perform spend analysis, maintain reports, and conduct research to support category plans.
Collaborate with client category leaders to develop alternate sources to single-source relationships and evaluate incumbents or new sources.
Simplify purchasing for end customers by creating catalogues, punch-out sites, and digitization; maintain strong communication, presentations, data analysis, and reporting to keep clients updated; leverage best practices and be willing to work across time zones and regions.
May lead and manage a team, collaborating with internal and external teams to set realistic and challenging operational goals aligned with organizational objectives.
Experience in a client support environment across different time zones, with knowledge of global markets and diverse cultures.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
bachelor’s degree (be/bcom/ba/bsc) from an accredited university or college.
Experience in indirect sourcing, supplier and stakeholder relationship management.
Generalist with substantial experience in strategic sourcing and execution of contracts in categories such as it, corporate services, professional services, facilities, medical services, marketing services (not restricted to any single category).
Minimum years of experience in sourcing execution.
End-to-end contract management; experience working with global stakeholders, suppliers, and clients outside india.
Proven verbal and written english communication and negotiation skills; knowledge of local market, legislation, and suppliers.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills; pc and database proficiency; strong interpersonal and leadership skills; attention to detail; problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities; ability to produce client-focused reporting and presentations.
Preferred qualifications
experience in a sourcing execution middle-office setup—running sourcing events with guidance from category leaders and strong interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels.
Experience hosting virtual training and/or q&a sessions.
Experience working in an mnc with multiple clients and managing a sizeable team.
