Job description:
* maintain effective communication with customers to resolve any issues related to their orders during the production process, ensuring quality service.
key responsibilities:
1. collect information from service departments to determine the status of orders.
2. respond to customer requests within the designated response time.
3. process special customer requests (accelerations, changes, updates, routing, stock controls and holds).
4. assist production staff in translating special order instructions.
5. coordinate shipping methods with the logistics department for special orders.
6. monitor and follow up on overdue orders, ensuring their timely closure.
7. approve or deny shipments based on stock availability and production workload.
8. update the system with the current status of orders.
9. resolve order entry problems with the customer service and service departments.
requirements:
* one year of experience in a similar position.
* bilingual english/spanish fluency (80%).
* high school or university degree.
* advanced office skills.
