Certifications, abilities and knowledge1. Leadership & influence: proven ability to lead high performance teams, drive behavioral change,and influence diverse stakeholders across all organizational levels within brp values andbehaviors.2. Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicateeffectively across shop floor and executive levels.3. Incident investigation: proficiency in conducting root cause analysis and overseeing theexecution of corrective and preventive actions.5. Risk management: strong capability in hazard identification, risk assessment, and implementingmitigation strategies.6. Hse system implementation: expertise in developing and implementing integrated hsemanagement systems tailored to manufacturing operations and aligned to global ehsrequirements.7. Manufacturing safety standards: in-depth knowledge of relevant occupational health, safety,and environmental regulations, as well as machinery and process safety protocols.section iv. Primary tasks and responsibilities● develop and sustain hse programs: build and manage hse programs aligned with companystrategy and regulatory standards, with a focus on operational risk reduction and workforceprotection.● site compliance and audits: ensure all applicable hse regulations through regular site audits,inspections, and documentation.● risk assessment & mitigation: lead risk assessment strategy (identification, mitigation and/orelimination), hazard assessments, environmental assessments, and oversee the implementation ofengineering and administrative controls.● incident investigation & reporting: oversee investigation of all incidents and near misses; leadroot cause analysis and ensure closure of corrective actions.● emergency response: based on campus er guidelines, ehs site leader is responsible fordeveloping and implementing site specific emergency response plans and procedures toeffectively manage and respond to workplace emergencies.● training and awareness: responsible for defining the training needs based on the policies andmanagement system (legal requirements / corporate guidelines), and actively supporting trainingprograms to educate employees on safety protocols, environmental responsibilities, andemergency response procedures.● promote safety culture: foster a culture of safety ownership through active employeeengagement, safety campaigns, and recognition programs.● performance monitoring & reporting: establish and monitor kpis; prepare monthly reports andpresent safety performance to site leadership and corporate hse teams, and the appropriatechange management related to npd/npi.● cross-functional collaboration: partner with operations, maintenance, hr, engineering, qualityand other teams to integrate hse into daily manufacturing activities.● resource & budget management: manage the hse budget and allocate resources effectively tomeet program goals and site-specific needs.acknowledging the power of diversitybrp is dedicated to nurturing a culture that invites, connects, and propels the ambitions of people of all backgrounds, profiles, beliefs, and experiences.
