general job description: under general supervision performs the following activities: • ensures compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, norms, rules, and practices.
• ensures proper administration of local statutory reporting, tax accounting requirements, and the filing of tax returns on a timely basis.
• administers relationships with tax authorities, payroll service bureau, auditors, and other related agencies.
• ensures that internal control of accounting systems are in place and maintained in order to safeguard the company assets and avoid liabilities.
• prepares balance sheet account reconciliations of moderate complexity.
• prepares cash receipts, disbursement journals, and accruals monthly.
• prepares monthly cash flow forecasts and ensures that sufficient funds are always available to meet the company's liabilities.
• keeps manager updated on accounting related activities by submitting required reports and keeping the manager informed on issues and changes in related laws and regulations.
• prepares management information systems to aid in the control and development of the operation.
• may be required to perform other duties as assigned minimum requirements: minimum education: • bachelor's degree in accounting.
• proficiency in english (650 toeic points).
• local professional certification, if required.
