Client: our client is a general music and entertainment conglomerate headquartered in the us. Project overview: our client provides platforms that help streamline music rights management, digital distribution, and data-driven decision-making for artists, labels, and content creators worldwide.
you’ll be part of a distributed agile team, contributing to the quality of solutions used by some of the biggest names in the industry. We’re looking for someone passionate about quality, with strong analytical skills, experience testing complex systems, and attention to detail.
responsibilities
* analyze and clarify requirements and documentation
* create and support test cases, checklists, and test documentation
* perform manual testing of apis, data flows, and web interfaces
* participate in exploratory and regression testing
* log defects clearly and track them through resolution
* collaborate closely with developers, qa peers, analysts, and devops engineers
* take part in regular releases and team ceremonies
qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in software testing
* good understanding of qa methodologies, types of testing, and sdlc
* experience working with rest apis (postman, swagger, or similar)
* hands‑on experience with client‑server systems
* familiarity with tools like jira, testrail (or equivalents)
* strong communication and problem‑solving skills
* nice to have: financial/accounting background
* experience with sap
* experience with relational databases
* understanding of ci/cd and cloud environments
