Responsibilities and qualifications manage full-cycle accounting in quickbooks, including ar, ap, billing, reconciliations, journal entries, prepaid schedules, deferred revenue, and revenue recognition. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all financial records. Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all accounts are properly reconciled and documented. Prepare and maintain financial statements (p&l, balance sheet, cash flow) in collaboration with our u.s. Controller. Maintain compliance with accounting standards, policies, and best practices. Follow and improve established checklists and processes to ensure efficiency and reliability. 3 years of hands-on accounting or controller experience, ideally managing multiple entities or clients. Strong understanding of accounting principles, month-end close, and general ledger management. Proficiency in quickbooks (certification or willingness to complete quickbooks training). Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. A calm, process-driven mindset with the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure. Strong communication skills and comfort collaborating with a remote u.s.-based team. Degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Based in mexico (required) cpa certification or equivalent. Experience in client-facing or startup environments. Proficiency with remote collaboration tools (slack, notion, zoom, etc.).
