canela is seeking a solutions-oriented individual with proven experience in ad technology implementation, managing, and delivering ad products, services, and platform solutions.
the manager, ad technology will be responsible for ad tech setup, integration, and delivery requirements, as well as troubleshooting, for canela media's digital ad tech stack across, free ad supported television (fast), and on-demand video (avod) on both our owned and operated apps and partner platforms.the successful candidate will be a process-driven multi-tasker who is an approachable, clear communicator.
the manager is responsible for working with third-party software and platform vendors who provide services such as video player, streaming video, ad-serving, programmatic, reporting, ad-related sdk integrations, and more.
reporting into the vp, ad technology, the manager, ad technology will support business objectives by effectively communicating with third party vendors and peers to ensure commitments are met and identify and resolve operational problems.
this role will also work closely with multiple internal and external teams including ad operations, client services, engineering, and programming operations.responsibilities
troubleshoot and debug vast tag issues, fill rates, render rates, timeout rates and other ad serving issues
manage and optimize ad serving, demand partners, and vendor integrations and implementations
set up and implementation of latest ad technology from contextual targeting to measurement and viewability
support ad operations to ensure campaign delivery and lead ad technology-related changes to optimize campaign delivery.
set-up process management, and execution.
including but not limited onboarding and ongoing implementation of partner tags and openrtb integrations.
set up, management troubleshooting of pmp deals.
ensure the optimal configuration of ad technology taxonomy to support multiple systems integrations (ad serving & decisioning, order management, cms and media asset management, business intelligence systems, etc.)
troubleshoot and propose solutions in collaboration with relevant business stakeholders and external vendors..qualifications:
ba/bs required
5 years of successful ad operations, ad tech, dsp, ssp, experience,
strong knowledge of mvpd, ott and avod publishing procedures,
experience running point on major integrations or implementations with 3rd party vendors or proprietary platforms
proven ability to use data to support hypotheses, identify obstacles as well as potential solutions.
possess strong communication skills with excellent presentation skills
confident, high energy, self-motivated and a true team player
demonstrated ability and desire to work and excel in fast-paced environment
prior experience in ad-tech and marketing technologies with a desire learn and teach new technologies
well-organized, with a high attention to detail and ability to prioritize
experience with salesforce, order management systems (operative, placements), ad servers (springserve, gam, freewheel), tableau, appsflyer, kochava, ad-tech/mar-tech saas a plus
