Job description: mid-level consultantapi people is seeking a mulesoft consultant with experience in mule, esb and api. As a mid - senior level consultant, you would be working with in support and implementations with clients. In addition, you will work on analysis/design/development/deployment of the services based on the requirements gathered. you will effectively handle offshore/onshore co-ordination and mentor the team as required.work schedule:high preference to candidates who can work wednesday to sunday ( monday and tuesday are off)should be able to work in pst timezone.duties and responsibilitiesresponsible for debugging within a complex environment that includes multiple connected systems.develop strategy and approach towards schedule jobs using mule out of box tools or work with enterprise tools.responsible for operational reporting, health monitoring of the application.exception handling, reporting failures, investigating, and putting long term fix in place to avoid bulk failures.responsible for setting up alerts, infrastructure, and security.ensure that the api based architecture enables for best-in-class user experience and response time.ensure the reusability of the components built.apply basic and oauth used in authentication protocols on every api service call from outside the network and secure service account passwords using encryption mechanism with different encrypted method.transport, database connector, aws and azure connector.required qualificationsbachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of mulesoft experience in lieu of every year of education.at least 4 years of relevant information technology experienceproficient in englishrequired experienceat least 4 years of experience in implementing and supporting api led solutions on mulesoft’s anypoint api platformworking knowledge in mulesoft ipaas platform architecture.working knowledge of on-premise / cloud-based infrastructures, cicd pipelines and deployments/configurations and definition/evangelism of best practices / standardsextensive experience designing and developing restful apisstrong knowledge of web standards relating to apis (oauth, oidc, ssl, cors, jwt, etc.)knowledge of ci/cd frameworks in relation to mulesoft sdlcexcellent analytical and communication skillsability to work closely with clients to define and derive the solutionscoding experience with either java/springunderstanding of domain driven design, domain concepts and cdmknowledge of api led microservices design principles and standard methodologiesexperience of working in large projects involving multiple parties including project managers and third-party vendors on high profile and technologically innovative enterprise solutionsproven track record of successful implementation of all project life cycle stages from requirements gathering through implementation and enhancementsunderstanding on network related components (e.g. firewall, load balancer, routing, vpc peering).cloud and cncf exposureability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownershiphands-on person who could single handedly work and deliver with minimal guidanceoptional qualifications (nice to have)mulesoft certified developer - level ii (mule 4)mulesoft certified developer - level i (mule 4)
