We are seeking a production planner to join our team in monterrey. This role plays a key part in organizing, coordinating, and optimizing the planning processes to ensure production efficiency, timely deliveries, and alignment with customer demand.
key responsibilities
* develop and implement production plans, schedules, and strategies to meet customer demands.
* collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and engineering, to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery.
* monitor production performance and take corrective actions when needed.
* forecast production requirements based on customer orders, sales trends, and inventory levels.
* coordinate with the supply chain department to ensure material and component availability.
* monitor work orders and align them with overall production goals.
* support the development and implementation of planning policies and procedures.
* mentor and train junior planners in planning tools, procedures, and best practices.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., industrial engineering, business administration).
* minimum 3 years of experience in production planning or scheduling.
* proficiency in erp/mrp systems and inventory tools.
* familiarity with iso 9001 / iso 14001 / iso 45001 environments.
* strong analytical and coordination skills.
* intermediate to advanced english level.
