about the role
the production supervisor oversees daily shop‐floor operations, coordinating people, materials, and processes to execute production plans safely and efficiently. You will lead facilitators/operators, solve problems on the line, maintain accurate production records, and ensure compliance with procedures, standards, and performance targets.
responsibilities
* supervise and coordinate production personnel across one or more operations.
* troubleshoot day‐to‐day issues and support operators in effective problem resolution.
* lead people actions in line with policy: hiring/training, promotions/transfers, discipline, and performance reviews.
* maintain accurate time and production records; estimate, request, and inspect materials.
* align activities with peer supervisors to ensure smooth inter‐department coordination.
* generate reports on productivity, quality, efficiency, and other kpis.
* develop, update, and sustain work instructions, procedures, and operating standards.
* report safety and environmental incidents; track and close corrective actions and safety detections.
* identify and implement improvements in quality, cost, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
* ensure compliance with code of conduct, ctpat, anti‐corruption, confidentiality, information security, and required hse training.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in industrial, electromechanical, mechanical engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 3–5 years of experience in production supervision or manufacturing leadership.
* basic to intermediate english; intermediate to advanced microsoft office skills.
required skills
* ability to read and interpret drawings; strong quantitative/mathematical reasoning.
* working knowledge of inventory control, manufacturing systems, mrp/mrp ii, npi, lean/6‐sigma, project management, kanban, and gmp.
* familiarity with as9100 (aerospace), iso 17025 (laboratories), ac7115 (elastomers), ac7108 (chemical processes), and ehs standards.
* strong communication, coordination, and cross‐functional teamwork.
