*job summary*:
the production manager is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production processes, high-quality standards, and on-time delivery. This role focuses on optimizing productivity, managing teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet business objectives.

*key responsibilities*:
- plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet output and efficiency targets.
- lead and manage production teams, including supervisors and operators.
- ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- monitor production kpis (efficiency, downtime, scrap, yield) and implement corrective actions.
- drive continuous improvement initiatives (lean manufacturing, six sigma, kaizen).
- coordinate with departments such as maintenance, quality, engineering, and supply chain.
- optimize resource utilization (labor, materials, equipment).
- identify and resolve production issues and bottlenecks.
- manage production schedules and ensure on-time delivery to customers.
- support new product launches and process improvements.
- develop and implement standard operating procedures (sops).
*qualifications*:
- bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, industrial management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing leadership role.
- strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning.
- experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- strong leadership and team management skills.
- ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
- proficiency in erp/mrp systems (sap, oracle, or similar).
- advanced english proficiency (written and verbal).
