this role serves as a key leadership position within the golf department, working directly alongside the head golf professional to help oversee daily operations, elevate the member and guest experience, and maintain the highest standards of service and professionalism. The ideal candidate is a motivated pga professional who thrives in a fast-paced luxury environment and is looking to continue growing within the private club and resort industry.
key responsibilities
* support the head golf professional in the day-to-day management of golf operations
* assist with tee sheet management, daily play coordination, and tournament operations
* deliver exceptional service and hospitality to members and guests
* supervise and mentor outside operations and golf shop staff when required
* assist with merchandising, retail presentation, and inventory management
* support member engagement initiatives, golf events, and club programming
* ensure pga standards of professionalism and service excellence are consistently upheld
* maintain a visible and active presence around the golf operation and practice facilities
* contribute to creating a positive, team-oriented culture within the department
qualifications
* active class a member in good standing with the pga of america
* minimum 2–4 years of experience in golf operations at a private club, resort, or high-end daily fee facility
* strong understanding of golf operations, tournament execution, and member services
* excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
* ability to work in a luxury hospitality-driven environment
