*what we'll bring*:
as a client solutions engineer, you will engage with both internal and external customers to solve their unique data challenges and provide creative, custom solutions to drive adoption of our platform services.
you will work on the "front lines" to understand customer needs and align those needs with the needs of products and services that the customer uses.
this is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
*what you'll bring*:
to be successful, you will possess
an ability to accurately estimate work artifacts in an agile environment
a proven track-record in client problem through software design and development
strong proficiency in linux
strong scripting knowledge of shell scripting
proficient in at least one programming language including java 8 or higher, python and/or scala
solid knowledge of sql and open-source rdbms such as postgresql or mysql
experience with source control and code review tools (git, gitlab, gerrit)
experience with build automation frameworks (maven, gradle, jenkins)
experience with cloud technologies (gcp, aws, azure)
working knowledge of large-scale data processing systems like hadoop, map reduce and spark.
your background will include
a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or stem field preferred.
relevant experience or degree in progress will be accepted in lieu of degree.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
advanced proficiency in english (speaking, writing, and reading)
excellent oral and written communication skills - excellent organizational skills
a demonstrated ability to adjust to rapid changes in priority and deadlines.

gui and web development with front end development using vue.js helpful
containerization, docker and/or kubernetes
managing and communicating the status of work products via jira stories
