forvis mazars is hiring a professional to join our team in mexico city, one of the fastest-growing hubs for m&a and cross-border deals in latam.
in this role, you will lead financial due diligence engagements (buy-side and sell-side), help clients assess opportunities and risks, and collaborate with international teams across the u.s. and latam.
key responsibilities:
* conduct financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side transactions.
* analyze financial performance and operational results of target companies.
* prepare quality of earnings (qoe) reports and identify key diligence issues and value drivers.
* evaluate financial trends, normalize ebitda, and identify post-transaction risks or synergies.
* lead client meetings and support executive discussions.
* collaborate with teams in mexico, u.s., and latam to deliver cross-border projects.
* build robust financial models for analysis and valuation.
* supervise and mentor junior team members.
* contribute to business development, proposals, and client presentations.
* stay current on m&a trends and best practices.
required skills and qualifications:
* bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in transaction services, m&a advisory, or financial due diligence (consulting).
* advanced skills in excel and financial modeling.
* strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
* ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, international environment.
* english proficient.
* experience working with u.s. or international clients is highly desirable.
