The ats mx transportation operation management (tom) team is looking for an area manager with a strong delivery record, proven ability to drive process improvement, people management experience, and ability to motivate reporting team members to meet the challenges of an on-time driven environment.
Key job responsibilities
- lead and supervise a team focused on yard operations, aligning fulfillment center operation with transportation execution.
- plan and manage yard capacity and trailer pool for designated site.
- carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and procedures.
- drive high safety standards for all yard operations, ensuring safe work environment for amazon and non-amazon workers.
- audit and ensure compliance to all standard work, workplace health and safety (whs) and environmental regulations
- meet and exceed operational goals.
- own area performance metrics and communicate them to tom and site leadership
