about the role
the quality engineer is responsible for ensuring product and process quality, supporting the quality management system, and leading issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
responsibilities
* coordinate product inspection and testing per established procedures.
* manage customer complaints and lead root cause analysis with corrective actions.
* maintain and improve the quality management system and related documentation.
* ensure control of non-conforming materials.
* analyze inspection results, customer returns, and quality data.
* collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
* participate in apqp, audits, and continuous improvement projects.
* train quality personnel and support process standardization.
* ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and hse requirements.
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 0–3 years of experience in quality or manufacturing.
* advanced english required.
required skills
* knowledge of quality tools (8d, dmaic, core tools, spc).
* understanding of iatf 16949, iso 14001, or similar standards.
* strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* experience with quality documentation and data analysis.
* effective communication and teamwork abilities.
preferred skills
* familiarity with mrp systems and customer quality platforms.
* leadership and continuous improvement mindset.
