this position facilitate quality improvements and maintain product quality standards through the development of methods and procedures in the assembly area.
*responsibilities*:
- gathers and analyses data to plan, coordinate and report quality improvements.
- troubleshoots quality problems.
- develops methods for testing, sampling, and training.
- conducts internal quality controls concerning areas or company products to ensure quality procedures and norms are met.
- monitors and records inconsistencies with quality procedures and norms.
- prepares complex quality analyses and recommends necessary quality procedure changes.
- prepares reports on rejected or defective products. Works with quality inspection supervisors to train and oversee inspectors in their use of control forms, procedures, and correcting quality problems.
- may provide technical leadership and assist in training less experienced engineers.
- in charge of the quality auditors in the assembly lines.
- update quality network and work with hr to make sure human errors are analysed and addressed with the proper countermeasures.
Qualifications:
requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 5 years experience managing hourly teams.
