job summary:
the role oversees the engineering function to ensure efficient manufacturing and assembly processes. This position leads plant layouts, equipment installations, and process improvements, providing strategic direction and technical expertise to support production goals and operational excellence.
key responsibilities:
- build and maintain a high-performing engineering team that supports manufacturing operations and achieves organizational objectives.
- lead initiatives in assembly and manufacturing process design, cost estimation, systems planning, layout optimization, tooling, and equipment standards.
- drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing methods, systems, and infrastructure to meet production targets.
- ensure facilities, equipment, and processes align with authorized product programs and capacity plans.
