Psc industries is looking for an accounting clerk for our santa catarina, nuevo leon, mexico location.
*responsibilities*:
- this position reports to the accounting manager in the usa.
- this position will have 2 accounting clerks as direct reports.
- understanding of the mexican accounting principles.
- manage/oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closings for financial statement preparation.
- manage/oversee accounting transactions.
- manage/oversee the reconciliation of accounts receivable.
- manage/oversee the reconciliation of accounts payable.
- manage/oversee the preparation of bank reconciliations.
- coordinate payroll, benefit and profit-sharing calculations with 3rd party payroll provider.
*qualifications*:
- vat tax knowledge.
- maquiladora knowledge.
- be able to travel.
- able to communicate in english.
- excel knowledge.
- accountant degree.
- 1+ year experience in accounting.
