accountability:
- safety promoter and accountable of a strict safety procedure compliance.
- optimize efficiency in site, by ensuring a deployment of asset care & engineering practices and standards
- supervising performance through samart important metrics aligned to company priorities.
- budget management, cost drive oriented
- supporting or deploying capeex projects.
- teamwork with environmental and operations departments to develop improvement plans for utility usage that drive our operation toward an approach of sustainability.
- mentoring direct reports to increase their potential and capability, through conversations and personal development plans.
- role model in the use of systemic problem-solving tools focus on zero waste.
- own communication and culture for facilities, maintenance and data management teams, and ensure messages are cascaded and teams aligned.
purpose of the role:
- possesses an understanding of distillation process, as well as all kind of equipment involved (conveyors, pumps, heat exchangers, mills, ovens, pot stills, etc..)
- well balanced decision maker with the ability to work under pressure; comfortable with complex data; ability to distinguish and prioritize urgent from important, capable to manage the ambiguity at different situations, needs and challenges.
- proactively participation with operation and engineering managers to choose the innovative technology and drive our operation toward a smart factory.
- promoting a strong culture based on manufacturing of excellence passionate about zero waste, as well as, taking care of the environment promoting a balanced culture.
skills, experience, and qualifications:
- degree or equivalent experience in engineering, with technical ability to lead in a sophisticated environment, delivering practical solutions.
- experience in project management passionate about manufacturing environment or production experience.
- ability to lead and handle people performance, mentor and development a multi-disciplined team from technicians to managers.
- financial awareness, understanding of business drivers, budgeting processes.
- leading and embedding change within teams
desirable/developed in role:
- sap (or mrp systems), planned maintenance, environmental and quality systems.
- knowledge of local health, safety & environmental legislation, and controls
