key responsibilities
* perform full-cycle bookkeeping with accurate transaction classification
* maintain financial records in compliance with us gaap
* set up and manage accounts receivable (a/r) and accounts payable (a/p)
* support and oversee payroll processes as needed
* prepare financial analyses and client-ready reports
* communicate directly with clients to resolve issues and provide ongoing support
* train and mentor junior team members when required
minimum qualifications
* associate's degree or higher in accounting or a related field
* minimum of 3 years of experience in a cpa firm (u.s. accounting environment)
* strong english proficiency (professional communication required)
* at least 2 years of hands-on experience with quickbooks online and/or desktop (qbo/qbd)
* minimum 2 years of netsuite experience in an accounting role
* must be located in mexico and available for a hybrid work arrangement
preferred qualifications
* bachelor's degree in accounting
* 5+ years of experience in a cpa firm
* bilingual (english & spanish)
* more than 5 years of experience with netsuite and quickbooks (qbo & qbd)
* experience managing multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously
