position summary
as our operations team leader, you are the bridge between technical precision and manufacturing excellence. You will lead human and material resources to keep our equipment and facilities in peak condition, maximizing uptime and driving continuous improvement. You will ensure safety, quality, and productivity, ensuring operation runs like a well‑oiled machine within a culture of order and cleanliness.
responsibilities
* strategic maintenance: design and oversee annual preventive and predictive maintenance programs to eliminate unplanned downtime.
* safety & risk ownership: act as the ultimate guardian of safety guidelines, identifying risks (near misses), validating work permits, and leading "safe behavior" walkthroughs.
* quality excellence: coordinate all maintenance and calibration activities under strict gmp and quality standards.
* resource & budget management: control maintenance expenditures, manage spare parts inventory, and coordinate with external vendors and service providers.
* cross-functional leadership: partner with production and project leaders to execute equipment upgrades and implement factory performance and reliability standards.
* team empowerment: supervise and mentor technicians, fostering a high-performance environment based on visual factory and autonomous maintenance principles.
required qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in engineering.
* at least 4+ years of experience in similar industrial operations or manufacturing environments.
* solid knowledge in pneumatics, electricity, electronics, mechanics, and instrumentation.
* intermediate english (professional working proficiency).
* strong knowledge of visual factory and autonomous maintenance.
preferred qualifications
* ability to analyze, train, and execute operational standards while managing technical personnel.
* advanced knowledge in maintenance management systems (cmms) and quality systems.
* experience managing maintenance budgets and collaborating on large-scale production projects.
