The dragonr qa team works on the global emulation team to develop emulation solutions for the design of cutting-edge wireless products. The role focuses on developing and optimizing emulation solutions for advanced wireless technology, ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of various system components.
Here’s a brief overview of the main responsibilities:
- *emulation platforms & tools*: working on emulation platforms such as fpga prototyping, veloce, and palladium; using emulation tools for synthesis, place and route, constraints, and clocking; and providing system debug support.
- *soc functionality*: involves tasks related to soc (system on chip) functionality including cpu/dsp core, multimedia, io, peripherals, ddr, modem, and bus protocols.
- *model development*: developing synthesizable models for specific ips to accelerate emulation deployment for a design.
- *methodology development*: participating in the development of methodologies for soc design.
- *debug skills*: utilizing strong debug skills to learn and resolve complex issues.
- *continuous development*: contributing to the continuous development of tools, technology, and flows.
*required qualifications*
- bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in asic design, verification, or a related work environment.
*preferred qualifications*
- experience in emulation and silicon environments, pre-silicon prototyping, designing synthesizable models, knowledge of lpddr3/4 or pcddr, system verilog & uvm, and debug tools.
- familiarity with arm cpu and soc architectures, validation and debug of digital circuits, and scripting (python, tcl).
