summary: the junior financial analyst prepares financial and business analyses and research related to financial performance, expenses, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.
representative activities: activities will vary depending on the assigned functional area and may include:
* supporting and assisting in the closing process, including analysis, journal entries, and data accuracy checks.
* researching and providing financial analyses to assess the impact of corporate projects and transactions.
* conducting analyses in areas such as financial performance, expenses, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.
* supporting and assisting in the annual operating plan (aop) process, including coordinating the preparation of cost center budgets and inputting data into planning systems.
* supporting forecasts and analyzing trends in manufacturing, sales, finance, and general business conditions.
* identifying opportunities to improve process effectiveness and efficiencies.
qualifications
we are looking for candidates with:
* bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance or a related field.
* 0-2 years of finance or related experience.
* fluent in english.
* strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* ability to design, develop, and maintain tables, formulas, graphs, and macros.
