Job description as a qa engineer at stx next, you will help expand our quality assurance capabilities in a vibrantly innovative environment. You will ensure software excellence by collaborating closely with development teams and participating in qa, testing, and community events. Responsibilities verify the correct operation of software by conducting functionality tests. Design new test scenarios in line with expected system functionalities and business needs. Execute test scenarios according to the established test schedule. Analyze the results and metrics of conducted tests. Report new bugs in accordance with the project process, track their processing, retest functionalities after the corrected source code is delivered, and close the bug after the process is completed. Actively participate in scheduled meetings, particularly team meetings within the project. Communicate with all stakeholders during the preparation and execution of test scenarios to efficiently deliver a high‑quality product. Requirements must have deep knowledge of software quality, testing processes, types of tests, product lifecycle, and bug reporting. Commercial experience with cypress or playwright. Experience in testing data and agile methodology. Knowledge of programming languages (python or javascript). Commercial experience in api testing (postman, tavern, or similar). Knowledge of git version control system. Familiarity with test management tools (testrail, zephyr, xray, or similar). Practical knowledge of technologies used in web applications (html, http, rest api). Analytical thinking. Good knowledge of english (min. B2). Great communication skills. Nice to have commercial experience in performance tests (jmeter, locust). Basic knowledge of sql. Familiarity with docker. Own github repository with some code to share.
