Overview: checksum is seeking a technical sales engineer based in mexico to support capital equipment sales in the electronics manufacturing sector. This is a business development role with a strong focus on pre-sales technical engagement. You'll work closely with customers to review their test applications and capacity needs to help define optimal test solutions. Your ability to analyze and present improved throughput and reduced costs through checksum's parallel test approach will be key to your success. Ideal candidates will have experience in ict, functional test, process engineering, and capital equipment sales, along with strong technical and process analysis skills. You will also develop test system configuration proposals, and work closely with the global sales team to prospect and build relationships at all levels of responsibility—from c-level executives, plant managers, and engineering managers, to test engineers and operators. A collaborative, multi-level engagement approach is critical in this complex selling environment where decisions often require consensus from multiple stakeholders.
