Role : event manager job type : full-time monthly rate: 20,000.00 mxn job description satellite teams is seeking a highly organized and proactive events manager to support the planning, coordination, and execution of international events. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at logistics and coordination, and is comfortable managing multiple moving parts across different countries and time zones. This is an urgent hire and will play a key role in reducing operational load by owning end-to-end event coordination. Responsibilities own end-to-end planning and execution of company and client events across multiple locations manage all event logistics including venue sourcing, vendor selection, contracts, travel, accommodation, schedules, and budgets act as the primary point of contact for all event-related coordination, ensuring clear communication with internal stakeholders and external partners coordinate international travel logistics for attendees, speakers, and team members build and manage detailed event timelines, run-of-show documents, and contingency plans handle on-the-ground event execution, including last-minute changes, troubleshooting, and real-time decision-making track budgets, invoices, and payments related to events and vendors ensure events align with brand standards, objectives, and overall experience expectations conduct post-event wrap-ups including feedback collection, learnings, and reporting support ad-hoc coordination tasks related to marketing activations, community events, or offsites as needed qualifications 2 years of experience in event management, event coordination, or project coordination experience managing international or multi-location events must have a valid passport must be able to travel to the united states, canada, and europe there are no existing issues related to the applicant’s ability to apply for a visa. Prior work with remote or distributed teams strong vendor management experience (venues, suppliers, agencies, freelancers) familiarity with event budgets, invoicing, and basic financial tracking experience coordinating travel logistics (flights, accommodations, visas, schedules) background in corporate events, offsites, retreats, conferences, or brand/community activations highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills under pressure comfortable working in fast-moving, loosely structured environments proficiency with tools such as google workspace, spreadsheets, project management tools (e.g., asana, notion, trello, clickup) based in or familiar with playa del carmen, cancún, or similar event-heavy locations
