Who will you be working with?
wabtec apodaca materials team, global commodity managers and other apodaca areas like safety and quality.
how will you make a difference?
as a member of the wabtec freight equipment group/division, you will be key for the wabtec apodaca production control team. A project planner buyer will strategically organize and present materials, tools, and equipment near the production line, also will be responsible for the weekly planning and lineside storage or presentation during the project.
what will your typical day look like?
* follow up npi direct material items with the fulfillment npi team.
* place p.o.s and deliver material according to need by date.
* lead parameter set up on new items and follow up execution of ppaps, cat 0, hicx, etc.
* develop material presentation to point of use and warehouse layout.
* support ehs site indicators.
* warehouse critical parts management.
* weekly production plan.
* reduce waste in material delivery or presentation.
* mfg inventory cycle count.
* compliance & cross functional collaboration.
relocation assistance may be provided if eligibility requirements are met.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain, business or related field.
* data analysis, programming in excel and access.
* 100% english.
* minimum of 2 years of experience in materials / manufacturing.
* minimum of 2 years of experience in lean manufacturing.
