your tasks
objective:
* review complex requirement notices regarding quantities, dates, and descriptions with system support in clearly defined contexts.
* plan, control, and monitor complex deliveries of a comprehensive range of purchased parts according to requirements and schedule.
material planning responsibilities:
1. check complex requirement notices regarding quantities, dates, and descriptions with system support.
2. define and guarantee economical order quantities according to planning rules.
3. update logistics material master data, considering targets like safety stock levels, in coordination with internal departments.
4. check safety stock levels, batch sizes, lead times, and correct stored data.
5. manage stock levels of complex parts spectrum.
6. participate in or lead supply chain optimization within departmental specifications.
7. handle complex stock management within a designated responsibility area.
8. participate in coordination meetings with internal departments.
9. plan, control, and monitor deliveries of purchased parts.
10. control component allocation for external production, considering required quantities and timing.
11. serve as the central contact for material planning and logistics supplier management at the plant.
12. conduct training and knowledge transfer on standardized material planning processes.
13. create regular analyses of material master data, including stock values and ranges, and make corrections as per standards.
14. measure and monitor performance to achieve targets.
15. provide first-level support for purchase parts planners in the plant.
16. trigger orders and follow up on deadlines.
17. monitor delivery dates, escalate in difficult situations.
18. coordinate solutions for supply bottlenecks with internal teams, suppliers, and management.
19. verify incoming order confirmations and clarify discrepancies.
20. coordinate on-schedule parts provision, monitor usage, and return of parts for external production.
21. process incoming goods journal, clarify excess deliveries or schedule changes, and escalate logistics issues if needed.
22. set up and monitor supplier consignment stores system-related.
23. prepare and conduct logistics-supplier meetings regarding deadlines and quantities, participate in supplier evaluations.
24. handle invoice discrepancies related to quantities.
25. monitor kanban control loops, determine master and movement data to ensure availability at low stock levels.
26. take planning responsibility for items before sop.
27. participate in process change projects, sourcing committees, and ensure implementation of measures.
28. monitor and manage stocktaking of supplier-provided materials.
29. train and support purchase parts planners to meet work routines.
30. provide first-level support for purchase parts planners and act as a central contact for material planning and logistics management.
31. conduct regular analyses and correct scheduling master data for procurement.
32. identify procurement process optimization potentials and initiate improvements.
33. support project teams during the i2p phase regarding material planning.
34. specify and implement system-based change requests, including requirements gathering, gap analysis, testing, user training, and documentation.
35. document and configure sap modules related to material planning to meet business requirements.
project management / key user
1. support management and project leaders for complex logistics projects, including rollout and sustainable process implementation.
2. define, plan, coordinate, and monitor project tasks using established methods and systems.
3. develop concepts for improving process data recording, analysis, and management.
4. monitor project success regarding time, budget, and quality, and drive action execution.
5. coach and train project teams and trigger additional training if necessary.
6. negotiate logistics conditions with suppliers, service providers, and customers (e.g., jit/jis, turnaround, packaging).
your qualifications
* 2-3 years of experience with new launches in the automotive industry.
* professional education or specialized diploma.
* sap proficiency, especially in planning modules.
* experience with worldwide supplier administration.
* experience with different shipment modes (air, sea, ground).
* advanced english skills.
