te connectivity's supply chain managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

responsibilities and authority
• ensure that extraordinary customer experience is provided in every interaction with both internal and external customers.
• ensure that all oem ford backlog and future projects are successful in meeting key operations objectives such as quality, materials planning, logistics and customer service.
• engage functional managers and individual contributors to keep operations objectives at front and center.
• be accountable for the development and maintenance of the oem ford scorecard as a corporate delivery champion
• be a key enabler in creating an extraordinary experience for our customers in reducing pf, meeting str and delivering successful new projects.
• authority to propose the necessary training to improve the environmental management program along with carrying out actions to achieve compliance with the iso14001 standard.
• lead and have a clear understanding of the ford mp&l and delivery requirements as outlined in the supplier delivery performance manual and ford guidelines and manuals.
• cascade key information provided to appropriate management teams including quality and manufacturing for all ship sites and create work plans with key manufacturing and quality executives as required
• lead and coordinate corrective actions when crisis (natural or man-made) arise along with document lessons learned post crisis situations and share them with ford and all ship sites, focusing on prevention of future occurrences
requirements
• bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline, supply chain or business management
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience in a leadership role.
• experienced change management professional who leads teams to excellence through collaboration and accountability
specific qualification, knowledge and skills
• bilingual (spanish & english)
• microsoft office word, excel and power point
• sap preferred
• managing and measuring work
• leadership
• mmog preferred
• specific client requirements applicable
• knowledge applicable to the position in iatf 16949 and iso 14001.
• knowledge of safety and environment regulations and the environmental management system that apply to the company
