A banquet and group auditor will ensure proper administrative, operational and financial control of hotel banquets and groups, audit verify that contract services are delivered as agreed and that billing accurately reflects actual consumption, ensuring correct revenue care and prevent losses.
what will i be doing?
as banquet and group auditor, you will audit banquets and group reports by collecting necessary information from food and beverage and front office and recommending improvements as required. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
* audit banquet event orders (beo's) before, during and after events
* verify the services, food and beverages delivered match what was contracted
* control actual consumption versus budgeted amounts (food, beverage, and equipment)
* validate event setups, schedules, number of attendees and last-minute changes
* review pricing, discounts, complementary items and extra charges
* coordinate with banquets, sales, kitchen and service departments to resolve discrepancies
* prepare audit reports and document any variances identified
* approve or reject final charges prior to invoicing
* identify revenue leakage risks and propose control improvements
* ensure compliance with internal policies and hotel standard
