we seek a dynamic public communications specialist to join our team. Based at our headquarters, the successful candidate will develop and execute strategic communications plans aligned with our mission and goals.
* main responsibilities:
* media relations & strategy: develop and execute media relations operational plans, secure positive coverage in global, regional, and national media, monitor media coverage, and produce regular reports.
* content development: write and edit press releases, media advisories, news articles, and thought leadership content, craft compelling narratives highlighting our research breakthroughs, development impact, and human-interest stories, create engaging content for media channels, and support donor communications campaigns.
* stakeholder coordination: collaborate with internal departments to ensure consistent messaging and integrated campaign execution, support communications needs of the executive team, and coordinate communications for events and external campaigns.
