The primary focus of a bco analyst is owning the e2e (end to end) process of credit for corporate and institutional banking (cib) customers in order to support relationship managers to structure credit solutions according to financial needs of business banking, international middle market customers that would increase lending portfolio in hsbc and ultimately would be translated in reaching economic objectives of the bank. Main activities identify and assess risks of financings to ensure credit risk is properly mitigated and the deal complies with mexican banking regulation and internal policies of hsbc; prepare credit applications where the analyst undertakes an exhaustive assessment of the customer that includes analysis of financial statements, industry analysis, annual projections to predict repayment capacity.
