Responsibilities
* plan and coordinate events from start to finish, including venue selection, budget management, and overall logistics.
* collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure all event aspects are executed as planned.
* oversee event access to ensure proper attendance and effective participation.
* manage communication with participants, sponsors, and other stakeholders before, during, and after the event.
* coordinate the hiring and supervision of necessary event staff, including vendors, support staff, and security teams.
* ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to events, such as permits and licenses.
* evaluate the success of events by analyzing key metrics and participant feedback, using this information to improve future events.
* stay updated on trends and best practices in the event industry, proposing innovative ideas to enhance event quality and impact.
* evaluate, supervise, hire, and manage all necessary services from various vendors collaborating on the event, before, during, and after the event.
* track performance, follow up on payments, and close out with vendors, making necessary adjustments according to established event guidelines.
* be actively involved in the operation of each event, ensuring its optimal execution.
requirements
* studies in industrial engineering or similar.
* experience in operations events.
* experience in project management.
* experience in event organization and management.
* excellent communication and presentation skills, with great attention to detail.
* ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
* implement, follow through and document processes, plans and ideas.
* excellent verbal and written communication skills in spanish and english.
* experience in the sports or entertainment industry.
* ability to work under tight deadlines and react quickly and flexibly to changing events in operating conditions.
